2015 Porsche
Cayenne will go through the process of minor aesthetic adjustments. Until the
emergence of the third generation, which is expected in 2017, customers will
have to settle with restyled version of the second generation. Before the
new Cayenne models, the facelift have experienced and 911 and Panamera models.
2015 Cayenne SUV model will improve and powertrains. This one refreshed model
will be presented in October at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
The biggest
change will be visible on the front and back of the body. On the front of the
vehicle there are new shape bumper, air intakes, LED daytime running
lights, new headlights and a new form of masks. The rear side will adorn a
new bumper, revised rear light clusters form, and a new design ends of the
exhaust system. Interior, 2015 Porsche Cayenne, will be slightly refreshed and
improved.
The new 2015
Cayenne S will get a new twin-turbo 3.0 L V6 engine with 420 hp and 520 Nm of
torque. This engine will replace, former V8 engine. The new engine will
significantly improve fuel economy. 2015 Porsche Cayenne GTS model, will
continue to be available with the atmospheric V8 engine. Version of the
2015 Cayenne Diesel SUV models still will be available. The existing
3.0 L V6 diesel engine will be upgraded. Thus, instead of 240 hp, this model
will develop a power of 300 hp.
2015 Porsche
Cayenne will be available in the E-Hybrid version. Its hybrid system will be a
combination of 3.0 L V6 petrol engine, a lithium-ion battery and electric
motor. The total power of this system is 416 hp, while torque is 589 Nm. 2015
Cayenne E-Hybrid has the ability to drive exclusively on electricity. Range
during such operations, is 30 km. The same hybrid system also used 2015 Porsche
Panamera S Hybrid E-model. This hybrid system greatly reduce fuel consumption
and reduce emissions. It is believed that the 2015 Porsche Cayenne, will be
”cleanest” luxury SUV on the market.
